A Teacher Just Like You

Hi!  Obviously, I'm a teacher.  I've been teaching since 2005, but I've held a variety of different teaching roles, from classroom teacher to instructional technology facilitator to inquiry lab teacher. 

My Current Job

Currently, I am a K-5 Inquiry Lab Teacher at an IB Candidate Elementary School.  This is an encore class, so I teach all 700+ students in the school on a rotation schedule and see them every six days. I absolutely love this job! My principal has given me the freedom to create my own curriculum and it has been amazing! We do everything from robotics to solving the world's energy crisis to launching rockets. I've been in this position for two years now and every day is a new experience! I have grown so much in this role and I look forward to what the next year brings.

TpT Store

I've had a TpT store for a few years, but haven't really done much with it.  With this new role as Inquiry Lab teacher, I have created a ton of inquiry-based and problem-based learning activities and am working on adding them to my TpT store to share with other teachers. I know how daunting it can be to write lesson plans, especially projects. It is my hope that by sharing my projects with you, your job becomes a little easier and your students have fun while learning!
